I received this book from Tracey Clark (founder of Shutter Sisters) in early December. It’s a book filled with ways to to inspire you to photograph from the heart.

The images are beautiful. The words, oh, every time I read something Tracey writes I feel like she’s laid a warm blanket over me and is singing to me. Except, you know. less creepy than that and more awesome.

I’m able to give away a copy which means that I feel extra lucky but I promise you, the winner? SO LUCKY.

This book, written by regular women, just like you and I, covers topics like lighting, nature, composition, perspective and approach. (and much much more!)

Hey friends! Can you believe I’ve been blogging here at I Should Be Folding Laundry for over five years now?

Feels like longer, right? (sort of)

I wanted to celebrate this day by doing a series of fun giveaways, things I absolutely love but more so, things I LOVE the idea of YOU receiving.

I mentioned in a previous post buying a notebook that I love. I use it everyday and because I feared using it up and not having it anymore, I looked up the notebook maker online and found a plethora of items, all of which I wanted to snatch from my computer screen and read and hug and lay in bed with…

I knew I wanted to personally buy something for a lucky winner, so I did some shopping and found the perfect notebooks to giveaway.

If I were Oprah, I’d give this set to every single reader of mine. We all have dreams, we all have fears and it’s amazing (almost a relief) how powerful these notebooks are, even just to hold in your hands.But I’m not Oprah, so I can’t.

I ordered the same set for me but this morning I decided that as much as I want to keep these notebooks for me…I would love to have two winners, instead. So, I will be choosing two winners and shipping them out this week!

The company who created these notebooks has no idea I even exist, I just love these and want to give some away to someone! Also, if you visit their website, be careful, you may get sucked in and pretend you have no budget and accidentally fill your shopping cart with beautiful items with beautiful words and then reality hits you and you have to close your browser. (but also, I recommend doing this because window shopping can be fun, too.)
