Where is your cell phone?  My NEW Blackberry Curve is in my purse which is on the kitchen counter with everything else in my house.

Your significant other?  Is very easy going, loving, polite and handsome.  Oh and he empties the dishwasher every single day.

Your hair? Is longer than it’s been since I was a child, although I mostly wear pony tails.  I am pretty bored with my hair, but I will not be cutting it anytime soon.

Your mother?  Beautiful and thoughtful, she is a mail carrier and I think she knows everything about gardening.

Your father?  Quiet, nice and he loves the Cubs and loves to golf.

Your favorite thing?  I have a lot of favorite things – my family, really good ice cream, delicious hot coffee with cream, my Blackberry, my bed, laying in the hot summer sun next to a pool.

Your dream last night? I think my medication makes me have the craziest dreams, my dream was very vivid but I will not go into details.  It had do to with a big castle and Disneyworld.

Your favorite drink? Ice cold water with a straw and coffee.

Your dream/goal?  To send all my children to college, guide them to have careers they are passionate about, I would also like to someday be a professional photographer.

The room you a€™re in? Living room.

Your ex?  Was sweaty.

Your fear?  Losing a child.

Where do you want to be in 6 years? In a big house with lots of kids, feeling happiness and feeling like a strong, confident woman.

Where were you last night?  At Wal-Mart – it was snowing and windy.  They were almost out of chocolatey chip teddy grahams.  (my current food addiction)

What you a€™re not?  Patient & strong.

Muffins? I love warm chocolate chip muffins.  I hate blueberry muffins.

One of your wish list items? A new treadmill.

Where you grew up?  Northwest Indiana.

The last thing you did?  Made a bowl of fruit for my daughter.

What are you wearing? My Levi’s 515s and a short sleeve green shirt.  I like green right now.

Your computer? A Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop.  We are best friends.

Your life?  Is always good, but right now my life is also hard.

Your car?  A 2001 Town & Country – it’s getting a fix up on Thursday with new suspension and tires, I can’t wait.

Favorite store? This question is too hard to answer.  I have an admiration for all stores.

When is the last time you laughed?  The last time I laughed really hard was Saturday night with my family playing Wii.

I’ve been tagged by Amy over at Milk and Cookies to list eight things about me that you probably don’t know.  I have done this twice before, but I figured there is a lot you don’t know about me.

so here goes.  I’m going to focus on eight things from my past.

1.   I grew up in a house with five brothers and sisters.  We only had one bathroom.  My parents still live in this house, when my whole family gets together at Christmas there are approximately 28 of us for close to a week, with only one bathroom.  And it’s fine.

2.  I used to have my belly pierced.

3.  I have endometriosis.  I got rid of my belly ring when I had to have my second laparoscopy done.  I went to have my belly re-pierced, and it was the worst pain I have ever experienced.  (something to do with scar tissue, I guess.)

4.  I have a tattoo.  I got my tattoo when I was twenty.  When I told my Mom about the tattoo, after the fact, I broke it to her by telling her my belly was pierced, which she didn’t know about.  I figured it would lessen the blow of my very permanent tattoo. 

It didn’t work.

5. Brian and I used to live on the 44th floor of a high rise in Chicago.  It was right on Lake Michigan and it was divine.  I loved it.

6.  We honeymooned in Barbados.

7.  One time, when I was little, we were at the beach with my Dad, he carried my sister and I out into Lake Michigan until he was up to his chest, he then let us go in the water and I thought I was going to die.

It was fun.  To this day my sister and I can’t swim.

8.  I was the editor of my high school newspaper.

I don’t have anything to blog about anyway.  I’m fat, and tired and my ankle and knee hurt because I fell when I was drunk, I mean, uh, I fell when I was exercising.  yeah…that’s the ticket.  I was all sweaty and jumping and stretching and everything and then, I, I, I, turned too quickly to jump on my stationary bike and then, then I ran into my bike, yeah, yeah, that’s why my knee and ankle hurt.  I was exercising!!

whew. That was a close one.

Anyway!  ON TO THE MEMES!  I say with one arm stretched up high into the sky!   I’m serious.  My husband looked at me like I had gone mad. 

Which is no different than how he looks at me all of the time.

The book closest to me is Dieting for Dummies.  I keep it next to my chair to use as a coaster.

The fifth full sentence in the first paragraph is "You can do it!" Seriously.  Well, actually the fifth sentence is "Take Courage!" but it says full sentence and I’m not sure if that is a full sentence.  Maybe Tracey R. could enlighten me on this subject.  She’s an english wizard.

Thea tagged me to name 5 favorite restaurants and why they are my favorite.

No problem.  I love eating.

1.  Redamak’s.  (Beth/mom2vikings, can you back me up, girl??)  This place is THE BOMB.  The best cheeseburgers ON THE PLANET.  ON THE PLANET, I am telling you.  Come over, I’ll buy you one.  Because they’re the best.  Cheeseburgers.  on the planet.  Did I mention that?  Brian and I go there for our anniversary every year.  OMG, it’s so good.  It’s in a great town on the lake in Michigan.  Just about 25 miles from here.  mmmmm…good.

2.  I love Longhorn Steakhouse because they have the best chicken tenders…you guessed it, on the planet.  They make them fresh, when you order them, they’re never frozen and they’re good.

3.  Red Robin.  I like going here because I love their Crispy Chicken Burger.  It is excellent.  Oh and they have unlimited fries, but I have yet to get a second helping, someday I will, though, I just know it!  I’m all about goals.

4.  Qdoba.  oh, how I love Qdoba.  The only problem is that there isn’t a Qdoba ANYWHERE near me, so when I visit my sister in Louisville, it’s all about the fresh mexican at Qdoba.

5.  If I said Taco Bell, would that be bad?  Sad?   Cause I love Taco Bell, I always get a double decker with nacho cheese and a chili cheese burrito.  yo quiero taco bell.    But, no, I’m not going to pick Taco Bell, I’ll just say Olive Garden because they usually have good wine, I always get their cheese ravioli with meat sauce and when I’m done eating there I usually don’t eat again for three to four days.  All good things.

1.  After removing my eye make-up and washing my face at night, I use a Q-tip in my eye to remove the remaining amount of eye make-up that is swishing around in my eyes.  (try it!  It’s awesome!)  Brian hates that I do that, it’s always grossed him out.

2.  I have never had my own bicycle before.

3.  I do not eat fish.  I can’t stand the smell.  Yet, somehow, whenever I go out to dinner, someone I’m with, or the table next to me always orders fish.   I then stuff my nose with Kleenex.

4.  I was the editor of my high school newspaper.

5.   When I was two years old,  a was holding a glass of water and I fell on it, it broke and glass went into my eye.  I have a scar on my eyelid.  (for the record, I don’t actually know how glass got into my eye, I just know glass got into my eye, I would call my Mom and ask her what happened, but she’s on vacation.  I was probably drinking when it happened.)

6.  When I was twenty, I purchased my first car, it was brand-new, twenty-six miles on it.  I purchased it on a Friday and was pre-approved.  I was on cloud nine, I loved my car and loved that I had purchased it all by myself.  On the following Monday, the car dealership called saying my loan was NOT approved and that I had to bring my car back to the dealership.  I was devastated.  I went to a credit union and was approved and my interest rate was so much lower that my payments were $20 less per month!  Talk about meant to be!

7.   Growing up I always played softball, I was a catcher.  I was good.  Real good.

8.  Tomorrow is the first day of my new position, I haven’t worked with a company, you know, like actually wearing heels and slacks, in almost four years.  I’m excited but I’m scared my feet are going to hurt!  Oh and I purchased a beautiful pair of brown slacks from the Banana Republic outlet store last night…THIRTY FIVE BUCKS!!  What a steal!
