Target hates my boobs.

It's true. My newly diagnosed small bra size is not available AT ALL at Target or Target.com. Why do I want to buy bras at Target? Because they are $10.99.

Speaking of smaller boobs. I am in my last week of maintenance for Weight Watchers. Next Wednesday, I hit my lifetime goal, and that means no more paying for meetings. I am so excited about hitting this huge milestone and I'm pretty sure I can keep my weight off, even though for lunch today I had pizza at Chuck E. Cheese's and for dinner I had pizza delivered to my door, goes to show, if you want to eat healthy, better go to the grocery store.

With that in mind...I am also sad. I was on this journey, for over 18 weeks, with so many friends and I had so many supporters and I KNOW I WOULD. NOT. BE. HERE. without them, and somehow, they're gone. I still have support, but there was nothing like feeling like I was walking arm in arm with these girls to the gym or to my meetings, or feeling like they were cheering me when I'd throw french fries in the garbage disposal rather than throwing them down my throat. But, I know, deep down, they're with me. Sometimes, in instances like blogging, I make my posts sound all buttery and delicious, when really feeling like a stale crouton, sometimes it's okay to let that crouton make an appearance.

I'm also a little grouchy lately, obviously. I'm preparing for a huge two day fundraiser garage sale that is being held at my home next Friday and Saturday. It's consuming my free time, what little I had and the donated items are consuming my square footage, in my bedroom, garage and basement. (Thank God for the basement!) But it's all for a good cause, I can't wait for the day to arrive and to feel the success of a job well done. It's just getting there that's the problem.

Blogging news...I'm working on switching my blog to another blog host, I would like to know if I can switch my blogspot files to my new blog...hopefully the move will take place within the next few weeks!

One of those horrifying moments

Today, I was on the phone with my sister who is 35 weeks pregnants. She had just gone to the doctor and was giving me a report on her appointment, she was in her car on the way to get lunch. All of a sudden she started yelling or maybe even screaming. Yes, she was screaming. I had no idea what she was saying. She then said "I just got hit! I just got hit. I have to go!" oh my God, it was awful. I asked her where she was hit and she said on the passenger side. Thank goodness. I told her to call me as soon as she could. It was an agonizing few minutes. Poor girl. :-( I'm talking about me! It was torture, I knew everything was okay, but I didn't know. I kept replaying the yelling in my head, I tried to busy myself with laundry, but that didn't work. I just thought about how useless I was at home, 300 miles away. She called me back, just a few minutes later in tears. Poor girl. And yes, I do mean her. She's a trooper though. Once the report was filed, she treated herself to a hot dog and a root beer float.
Here's some pictures of a "photo shoot" I took of the kids last week. The first one is of my feet.

I love summer.

Noah acting like a pirate, he's saying "argggghhhh!"

Can you even take how cute he is? Me either.

Sucky blogger

I'll admit it. I've been a sucky blogger lately. But it's not my fault. It's everybody elses! :-)

First of all, I love Jenn B. OMG. She has taught me how to add pictures to blogger sooo quickly and easily. THANK YOU, JENN!! That is why there will be 30 pictures added to this post and it didn't take me 3 hours. I hope you like it!

We have been so busy, just like everyone, summer seems to do that to people. Saturday, we celebrated one of my best friend's daughter's birthday. She turned 2. The party started at 2 and it last until 10pm. We stayed until 9:30pm. The day ended with a great fireworks show, I wanted to stay and watch them to see how the kids reacted to them this year. Let's just say Anna hid under the table! LMAO. Noah finally had it after a few minutes.

On Sunday, we woke up nice and early for my nephew's birthday party in Michigan, over 3 hours away. We have never visited my sister there, so we thought this was a great opportunity to do so! Man are we glad we did! We had a blast. The kids were amazing in the car, watching movies and reading books. Brian drove there, while I made bracelets for a Friends of Allie fundraiser, it was great. We got there and just had the best time. Their entire yard is fenced in, so it was freedom for the kids and we brought their bikes, which Noah appreciated, but Anna just wanted to play dress up the whole time! Brian had a great time because he could play basketball, ride a 4 wheeler (for the first time) and drink beer. If there had been a stripper there I'm certain he would have declared that the best day of his life.

We didn't leave until 6pm, because we were having such a good time, we got home late, but the next morning the first question Anna asked was "are we going to Missionigan?" Very cute.

So, I may not have alot to say right now, but I do have lots of pictures to share with you! I promise not to be a sucky blogger anymore! (I'm almost done with Grey's Anatomy!) Thanks for checking in!

Noah at the birthday party on Saturday. This was his first moment of fully getting a grasp of what was ahead of him. A bounce house, pool toys and a massive fenced in back yard.
JUMPING!! Jumping and then sliding! This was the best bounce house we had seen, especially for smaller toddlers. It's from Little Tykes. On to the first water toy of the day! I love this picture. My little baby boy is growing up.

The birthday girl. Fiona. Her party was an asian themed party, hence the reason why she is wearing a beautiful red kimono.

yummmmm....cake.

still yummy.

Now onto water toy #2. Noah is not the type of child who enjoys getting wet, but with this toy, he had a blast. It's a sprinkler toy rocket thingy by Discovery Toys. We ordered one from the consultant that was there. We can't wait to get it! Brian and I have never seen a cooler water toy and Noah enjoyed it so much, how could we not!? Anna loved it, too. This was after we thought he was done with his swim trunks, hence the reason why he has clothes on...luckily I brought a second outfit.

sooo wet!

Anna's turn to control the rocket shower!

Here's me playing with my 17 year old niece on Sunday in Missionigan.

A little more stable.

Me on a four wheeler. The scariest moments of my life.

Anna's turn.

I love french braids, but I have no idea how to do them. Here is Anna's Aunt Lori putting one in her hair, while Anna sipped on lemonade. It was a very summery moment on the front porch. :-)

Anna and her good friend and cousin Jenna (5). We surprised the girls with matching outfits. Anna and I picked hers out on Friday at Target, of course, and I called my sister, Amy, Jenna's mom on Saturday and she happened to be at Target. I said "you should get Jenna the same outfit!" So, she figured out which shirt and shorts just from my description! Amy's so smart! We didn't tell them, they loved it. Anna is just pure silly in this picture!

Very hot with spiked hair...compliments of Amber.

Noah and Amber.

Birthday boy. Jeremy!!

So happy with this gift. Brian picked it out, it's a monster golf club. It's hilarious. LOL. Brian loved it. I think he wants one.

I am so fond of this picture. from left to right, bottom: Jenna, Anna and Emily (Lori's daughter) Top: left to right: Amber, (Amy's daughter), Amy, Beth, my Mama and Lori, my sister. We are just missing my younger sister, Sarah who lives in Louisville and who is pregnant with her girl, she's 35 weeks pregnant!

After a long two days, finally a time to rest! (this last about 20 minutes!)

Equally tuckered out.

We served the kids fast food in their car seats for the first time ever on the ride home, it was sooo late. I think they enjoyed their car seat picnic!

Here's a picture of the kids at a different birthday party last Monday. (so many parties!) I love how old they look sitting at their own table eating.

All kinds of stuff going on!

First of all, Blogger is a liar, I did not post this on Wednesday, I started my blog on Wednesday, got sidetracked and closed blogger. Now, it's Thursday. Recently I have learned that adding velveeta cheese to a burger on the grill is AWESOME. So awesome that I made them two nights in a row. I've been in the mood to cook alot lately and try new things. For example, two weeks ago I made sweet corn, I've never made it before. Last Saturday, I made homemade strawberry shortcake and tonight I "simmered" steaks. I had purchased the steaks for the grill, but Brian had called and said he was going to be home almost an hour earlier than we had thought, so I, being SuperWife had to change my plans so he wouldn't have to wait for dinner. I rarely make steaks and Sara, I didn't have any A-1 sauce so I just used ketchup. sorry.

I haven't blogged about Father's Day. SuperWife, (me) made breakfast. I have a breakfast specialty called Made to Order Omelettes. They are delish. So, I made Brian a green pepper, onion, cheese and bacon omelette, with a side of bacon, wheat toast and Pillsbury Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls fresh from the oven! Served with coffee and juice, of course! While I cooked, the kids and Daddy opened the presents. At eleven we left because one of my best friends had their son baptized, so we attended the celebration. It was a wonderful, wonderful time! The kids were amazing, the food was great. It was hard to leave. Luckily, the baptized baby's sister is having her 2nd birthday party this Saturday so we'll be in the same great company.

Do you ever get tired of cleaning? I do. I am SICK of it. I can't keep up.

I'm going to watch Grey's Anatomy now.
Enjoy the pictures. For the record, I've taken a ridiculous amount of pictures lately, so why not share them!

This is how the two were sitting watching TV, seriously.
At a birthday party on Monday.

Some pictures I took of my friend's son who was baptized.

saturdays

Because of Grey's Anatomy (and other responsiblities, really), I have been staying up too late. Each ending makes me want to watch the next episode. It's just not fair...but tonight I did stop at one episode. This past Saturday was a great day at home with the kids. In honor of Jacob, we spent the time at home, playing outside together. It was wonderful. At one point, Brian and I were sitting on our deck, while the kids played with their toys and we were actually, dare I say, relaxing. We could let our guards down, just a little bit. Here are some pictures from this past Saturday. After the pool, sprinklers and naps, my parents came over for some awesome burgers and homemade strawberry shortcake. Gotta love summer.
Noah getting ready for the outdoors.
We had just bought this "tractor" at a garage sale. Noah was in the pool when he spotted his new vehicle, he climbed right out and drove around. Even Mommy got in the (frigid) pool! Anna taking Grandpa for a ride.

385

That's how many pictures I have taken since Friday morning. No lie. We had a weekend JAM PACKED with activity, and it's the first of many. I've included some pictures and adventures from Friday.

Brian and I woke up at 7am on Friday, (Brian stayed home from work) because we were getting our carpets cleaned, all of them, at 8am. So, at 8am, Brian the kids and myself played outside. When they were done cleaning, we went to breakfast to celebrate Father's Day, since it's so busy on the actual day. After that we got Noah's haircut. He hated it. Once he was done, Anna climbed on the chair and said "my turn!" She was in desperate need for her bangs to be cut, so the hairstylist cut Anna's bangs and we are so happy she did!

THEN, we went to the zoo! Anna was so excited and Noah had no clue what a zoo was. Well, Anna hated the zoo and Noah loved it. It started out wrong when a large ostrich, who was protecting it's egg, was trying to attack the kids through the fence. It was pretty comical, Noah was laughing SO hard, Anna was freaking out. We then walked into the "snake house" and that is where Anna received her new nickname "Prissy Mcpriss Priss Priss Priss." She hated it. Hated the smell, hated the snakes, everything and after the attacking ostrich and the smelly snake house, she was done. She couldn't wait to leave, but Noah loved it, so we stayed. This zoo is very small (and boring and smelly and completely ghetto...thanks for the warning, Lynette, should have gone to Chuck E. Cheese, like you said!) We walked the entire thing, some exhibits more than once in about 45 minutes.

We then ate at Grandma's house, went home, took naps, ate dinner, went grocery shopping and stopped at Dairy Cream for ice cream! whew. A busy, busy day and that was just the start of the weekend!
I'm going to watch my 3rd episode of Grey's Anatomy of the night! Penny, I'm about to watch the superbowl one!!!!
Enjoy the pictures.

At breakfast.
The attacking Ostrich. Look at Noah. I LOVE this picture.
Prissy Mcpriss had her nose and mouth covered through almost the entire zoo.
Noah loves animals. I love that.
We weren't sure why Anna was so sad, maybe because the zoo was a huge disappointment? Either way, this picture makes me sad...but then I see Noah and I'm happy again!
Then we asked her if she wanted to go ride bikes at Grandma's and that brightened her up.
This was my favorite part of the zoo. I've never seen turtles move so fast towards anything and they were eating and chewing! It was quite a sight to see!
Eating ice cream! YUM YUM! Even Mommy indulged.....

Monkey Underwear

C'mon. Someone has got to invent it.

We took the kids to the zoo today, that is where this picture was taken.

ahhhh....spa

Tonight I received my reward. One month ago tomorrow I hit my Weight Watcher goal weight. As of last night I was down almost 2 lbs from that. Tonight, I had a one hour massage. Remember that I am a complete massage virgin, I've never even had a pedicure. It was VERY relaxing, and very enjoyable and very....painful. This girl was strong, but good. She said I was incredibly tight in my shoulders, upper back and quads, so in those areas she used her elbows, I think, but it could have been a steel baseball bat for all I know. It really did feel good and I decided that if I maintain my weight loss goal, that I will treat myself to another one hour massage on August 15th. Now that's an incentive!

The thing that felt best, was that another woman was rubbing my entire body and I didn't feel the least bit insecure with what I looked like. That felt amazing.

Malaria

Apparently, I could have malaria. Today, I went to donate blood. After going through the series of questions, getting my finger pricked, blood pressure taken, pulse and temp and everything checking out just fine. I was asked if I have been to Mexico. I said "yes." Which part? "Playa del Carmen." "You can not donate, Malaria is all over Playa del Carmen, I just need you to sign here." I was stunned. "but I was there for FIVE hours...on a cruise. Five hours. On the coast."

It didn't matter.
Needless to say, I was (am) heartbroken. Apparently I am not the only traveler who feels this is ridiculous as I came across an article written by someone who experienced the same thing.

I have just a few questions:
-Why isn't this deal breaker information on the Red Cross website or in the literature you have to read before starting the donation process?
-Why are cruise lines taking you to places that apparently have malaria and not telling you about it? I can tell you this, if Royal Caribbean had told me that by stepping foot on that particular Mexican soil meant not donating blood until May 2007, I would have sat my ass down on the ship and Brian and I could have had the pool to ourselves!

Needless to say, I walked out, not saying a word, trying not to burst into tears.
I can't wait for May 2007.

TV history

It was the TV event of the decade. Never have I witnessed such beauty in such a short period of time in my life. Time stood still as I watched perfection on TV. Certainly Pay per View missed out on this one time event, I'm certain had Pay per View sold this show it would have surpassed any previous boxing records. Breathtaking. Beautiful. Perfection. Did you see it? I almost missed it. My sister, Sarah, called me today and said "I have an emergency." I said "what?" she said "Nick Lachey and Chris Daughtry are on Ellen today." I hung up the phone, looked down, took a deep breath and reached for my Tivo. Hot hot hot hot. Super hot. Super powered hot. Two hot men on Ellen. Did she even appreciate the hotness? The hunkiness that stood in front of her? The only thing that would have been hotter is if Brad Pitt had shown up with oil on his body alk djfwoengaleknf ladksngvLKD F;LAWKEt;lje j ;OEW IUR098EUNljsflkajflkdjlejlkdddddddddd7676729292ms.akeflj... JLEAKNGJLWEKDANGlksjdlkjslagtjlaweja;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Sorry...I just passed out. By the way, Chris sang AND PLAYED GUITAR. He sang a Bon Jovi song and it was incredible!!! I'll have to try to get the audio. Did anyone see it?!?!!?

Anyway, last week, Brian and I bought a new dishwasher. Ours worked just fine, it was just so freakin' loud. It honestly sounded like a dump truck was sitting idle in our kitchen. We have an open-concept house, so literally our kitchen is in our living room, we would NEVER run the dishwasher while we were awake. It came with our house when it was built and the builders picked a very cheap model. So, our dishwasher arrived this morning and Brian is installing it right now! I'm so very excited. (And I think Brian is very excited to be finished.) He's almost done!

Oh, and Elisa, the Dora Sprinkler is from Target. It's was on sale for $8.88, regular price is $9.99! ENJOY!!

I now leave you with a ton of pictures!

Don't they look like they're the same size?? We measured them last night and there is only one inch difference between them. 39 and 38 inches. I love how they love eachother.
LOVING THEIR BIKES! Anna was a genious with her bike! Noah doesn't feel the need to peddle just yet, he'll ride Flinstone style for now.
Yes, I am one of those crazy moms that takes pictures of her kids in the middle of the night. But if I didn't....I wouldn't have pictures like these. No paci for Anna! I think it's safe to say she has fully adjusted to life with out pacifiers! Hooray!
yum.
